Boutique Treasure!

I get so giddy when I find a little hidden treasure when I least expect it. As I was walking through one of my favorite "old town" stores, the Farmer's Wife, I was drawn to the section of the store where there were fragrances, lotions, bath salts, and other yummy things I could get my hands on. I immediately spotted the word "rose" and was instantly drawn in. I LOVE rose water and am always looking out for it. But this little goody caught me by surprise. Kimono Rose by Thymes isn't your typical rose smelling fragrance. This one is unique in ways I am going to attempt to explain.....

The feeling that was provoked when I tried on the roller ball fragrance was one of instant satisfaction. I was thinking about how I couldn't wait home and give my hubby a hug to see if he noticed anything different. The scent is subtly powerful, romantic and sweet, with both light notes and bold notes. This is the description on the Thymes website:

Sparkling and lyrical, Kimono Rose is unabashedly feminine, beautifully layered
with an undercurrent of intrigue. A sheer, sensuous floral heightened with
effervescent sweet clementine and voluptuous cassis on a creamy bed of satiny
rose, peony and jasmine petals…finished with a kiss of smooth, silken vanilla.
Delicate but dynamic; softspoken, yet striking, it is a modern reflection of who
you are, and who you want to be…all wrapped up in one truly lovely fragrance.

It comes in sprays and lotions and candles. Oh I can't wait to get my hands on the entire collection! I love that it comes in my new little favorite....the roller ball (which was introduced to me when I started wearing Sharon Bolton Scents in LUV)....so I can just throw it in my bag and run. Go check this stuff out. I promise you won't be disappointed!
