the AHHH-MAZING: Urban Defense

Whoa! I consider myself a pretty loyal person. Once I find a great product I usually stick with it. I have been using the same tinted moisturizer for the last couple of years and I truly love it but when I saw that Urban Decay came out with their own version, "Urban Defense" I couldn't get my mind off of wanting to try it out. It just so happened that I had ran out of my other product and was strolling by Sephora last week when I decided to cheat on my faithful tinted moisturizer and purchase Urban Defense (in Halo--light) by Urban Decay. Oh my goodness! I LOVE IT!

The product glides on nicely and has the perfect sheer coverage I love. It's lightweight, smells nice, and my favorite result is that it does not leave my face shiny! I'm not a big foundation lover--especially during the hot summer months-- so when I can use a tinted moisturizer that gives me the sheer coverage I like and protects with a SPF 20--I am in skincare Heaven! My, hmmm - hmmm, fine lines are less visible, my pores are refined and nearly invisible, and with a light dusting of a sheer loose powder my skin looks near perfect!

I am 110% satisfied with this product and I know I have just discovered a new favorite in which I pledge my loyalties to...

Next on my radar from Urban Decay is the Naked Palette and I have to try the new Lip Junkies!!! And of course...I'll let you know what I think!

He thought I was 24!!!!

I am literally weeks away from turning 30 years old and to tell you the truth….very excited about it. I’m not all caught up in feeling like I’m getting old and all that hoopla. I’ ve always thought I’ ve looked young for my age and have enjoyed growing up and maturing. I was taken aback recently when somebody I see on a regular basis due to work related duties commented on me being the same age as they were after telling me they were 24 years old….I was shocked. I was like, “honey, you’re just a baby!” and he commented back about how we were the same age and I was like, “NO……I’m hitting 30 here!” He was really surprised. Well I thought about this little fortunate exchange of words for a while. What about me make people think I am younger than what I actually am? I’ ve always been on more of the mature side. Okay you all. Hold on tight because I have an awesome product to share with you. It's Matte by MAC Cosmetics . This product is something I've carried in my kit for a couple of years but for some reason it had gotten pushed to the back of my case behind everything else. Kind of like that always great fitting t-shirt that you love and from time to time it gets misplaced or forgotten about but when you find it again and wear it, it feels so right!
