Crazy Rumors?!



When it comes to summer time all I can think of is carefree makeup! We are all out and about enjoying the hot weather. We are spending lots of time in and near the water. The days are long and the nights are perfect for getting together and barbequing! I’ve been carrying around a few awesome goodies in my makeup bag that aren’t letting me down this summer. First is: Crazy Rumors?! I love the name of the line—so cute and fun. This is a line of all natural vegan friendly lip balms! What is also really cool is they come in flavors of your favorite latte and tea drinks! You will always find one of these yummy and friendly lip balms in my makeup bag. Two of my favorite things--coffee and soft lips! Go get yourself some of these amazing lip balms and perk up those lips!

A "Wrinkle" in Time (pun intended)

First things first. I need to just touch on this span of time that has gone by in a wink of an eye. It’s that time of year again when I am just totally and completely consumed with bridal makeup! I love it. I love being a part of making a woman feel and look beautiful on one of the most special days of her lives. She knows she looks her best as she is gliding down that aisle to her beloved….her future….her hopes and dreams in front of her as she passes by her family and friends. I starting to notice that there was a difference in the final result of a makeup application on a woman on her wedding day and I needed to put my finger on what made a woman glow on her wedding day. I think it just comes from within. Like maybe from the joy and excitement or maybe from the sweet anticipation that the bride feels as she is getting ready to start the rest of her life as a married woman. URBAN DECAY Spring 2010!!!

One thing that I can absolutely say is that my life is never, ever dull! Just when I thought I was on the path of freedom--on my way-- literally --to celebrate the completion of my teaching credential program I took a lame spill off my porch and broke my ankle! What a dork! I find out if I need surgery tomorrow.....but in the meantime, when I'm not totally doped up and loopy, I've decided to catch up on some reading, writing, and planning of birthday parties and family vacations we would like to take this year. First off, I couldn't wait to share my ever consuming love of Urban Decay Cosmetics with everyone.
