There’s nothing more cool then improvising last minute and being totally satisfied with the results. What am I talking about? Well, short story long, my husband and I are going out of town for a quick weekend get away to Las Vegas. My morning started out crazy, as usual. I had the kids, my dog, work, and other loose ends that all needed to be tied up. So I threw my hair back in a ponytail, took care of all my responsibilities on my “to do” list, packed my bags for the weekend and jumped into the shower. Ahhh, finally a moment of relaxation. I lathered up with some tropical smelling body wash called Tiare Flower by ILE DE TAHATI . It smells amazing….like vacation. It’s “spicy and sensual” and has a long lasting fragrance. I was able to relax just from the scent of my body wash. Once I got out of the shower I smoothed on my Tiare Flower Inu Body Lotion on my freshly shaved legs and the rest of my body. I love to layer my fragrances. It makes me feel clean and fresh and smelling exotic ...

So, I have a sister who is six years older than me whom I have always admired for her fashion and beauty sense. Seriously, she is so cool. She knows so much about fashion and a lot about the whole beauty industry. Hello! I have had so many conversations about falsies lately that I figured I would finally blog on…drum roll please…..“false lashes!” Yea! They are so much fun. You can be subtle where no one would even notice or you can be out right daring and bold. Some people think they can only wear lashes for special occasions but I know people who wear them everyday….looking beautiful and soft. I always recommend falsies for my bridal clients since the false lashes make their eyes stand out more in pictures and at a distance for all those adoring on lookers. For those of us that want to add just a little bit of spice to our look there are several different sizes and shapes to choose from. I have always bought my lashes from a MAC counter….except for the fun ones they have at the Halloween stores during the Halloween season. Anyway, MAC Cosmetics #7 lashes are an all time favorite. They look sooooo good on everyone…..and natural. I like to cut my strips in half and wear the long tips on...

MAC COSMETICS, Paints! Seriously! As I begin to get ready for another glorious wedding season I start to weed through my makeup kit and sift out some of my favorite products. Sometimes things get shuffled to the back of my case due to time constraints, quick improvising, or clients tastes. But the one thing that is never forgotten about and always used is my MAC cosmetics paints. They come in all sorts of colors and textures. You can choose a shimmery nude like, Stilife or a bright red like, Flammable or an everyday-under any eyeshadow color like Bare Canvas (my favorite). All it takes is a fine layer on your eyelid to prevent creasing and adds durability to your eyeshadow. What's really cool is you can wear the beautiful colors alone or as a primer under your other eyeshadows. I personally always wear them under my eyeshadows. The paints add another dimension of texture to my eyes and again, it allows my eye makeup to look freshly applied all day. It's magical, really...
